THE MECHANICS AND TAIL DRIVE AND HEAD ALL COME PRE-ASSEMBLED SO YOU JUST BOLT THEM TOGETHER.THE MECHANICS WILL ACCEPT MOST 30-38 SIZE ENGINES . I FITTED IRVINE ENGINES 36 IN MINE BUT THIS IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE.
CENTURY ALSO DO A CONVERSION KIT FOR THE HAWK MECHANICS SO THAT YOU CAN USE A LARGER OR FOUR STROKE ENGINE ALSO THEY DO A CCPM CONVERSION KIT WHICH I HAVE TO TRY.
THE FUSALAGE COMES AS PAINTED OR UNPAINTED(YOUR CHOICE) I HAD THE PAINTED VERSION AND AS CAN BE SEEN IS EXCELLENT, IT IS FUELPROOFED AND ALL WOODWORK IS BONDEDIN READY TO ACCEPT THE MECHANICS AND RETRACTS(WHERE FITTED).
WHEN I OFFERED UP MY MECHANICS TO THE FUSALAGES ON THE 222 AND LONGRANGER THEY FITTED PERFECTLY AND CAN BE REMOVED WITH FOUR BOLTS VERY QUICKLY.
NORMALLY WHEN BUILDING A SCALE MODEL I LIKE TO FLY IT WITHOUT ITS CLOTHES ON(pod and boom)TO CHECK AND TRIM IT OUT BUT AS EVERYTHING IS EASY TO GET TO I DID NOT.
ALL THREE MODELS FLEW STRAIGHT OFF THE BOARD (as they say) AND OTHER THAN A SLIGHT TRIMMING WERE FLYING IN CIRCUIT ON FIRST FLIGHT.THEY WILL ALL DO GENTLE AEROBATICS AND ARE IDEAL FOR A FIRST SCALE MODEL.
